PROFILE

Nrithyanjali Dance Troupe

Nrithyanjali is the union of 2 words Nrithya (Dance) and Anjali (Offering). The troupe "Nrithyanjali" has been splendid in sending words that Dance has no country or language boundaries with Japanese and Indian women performing Indian Cultural Dance "Bharatanatyam".

The troupe was the brainchild of the four likeminded Bharatanatyam dance enthusiasts, ex-students of Mr. Gyanendra Bajpai's Bharatanatyam dance course at ICC, and started in June 2009. Even though the troupe is new, it has successfully performed in many places in and around Tokyo, leaving many dance lovers enthralled.
